1. Information we collect

a) Information you provide voluntarily

When you fill our contact form, enquiry form, or request a demo, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and message. This information is provided entirely by you and is used only to respond to your enquiry.

b) Information collected automatically

When you visit psminfoline.com, our servers and analytics system automatically record technical information including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type (mobile/tablet/desktop), screen resolution, preferred language, pages visited, time spent on each page, scroll depth, and the website that referred you to us (referrer URL). We also capture UTM campaign parameters if you arrived via a marketing campaign link.

c) Cookies and local storage

We do not use third-party tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage and sessionStorage — built-in browser features — to remember your session within a single visit and to count return visits. These are stored on your own device and cannot be accessed by any third party. You can clear them at any time via your browser settings.

2. How we use your information

We use the information collected for the following purposes only:

  • To respond to your enquiries, service requests, and contact form submissions
  • To provide the software products and IT services you have requested
  • To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve content and user experience
  • To analyse which pages and services are most useful to our visitors
  • To measure the effectiveness of our digital marketing campaigns
  • To send you relevant information about our products and services if you have opted in
  • To maintain the security and technical performance of our website

3. How we store and protect your data

All data collected is stored on our own secure server (VPS) located in India. We do not send your personal data to any third-party analytics service, advertising network, or cloud provider. Access to visitor data is restricted exclusively to authorised PSM Infoline personnel through a password-protected admin system. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL), secure database access, and regular security updates to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse.

4. Third-party services

Our website may use the following limited third-party services:

  • Google Analytics — to understand aggregate website traffic patterns (you can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on)
  • Google Maps — embedded on our contact page to display our office location
  • WhatsApp — if you choose to contact us via the WhatsApp button, you are redirected to WhatsApp's platform, which has its own privacy policy
  • Cloudflare — used as a content delivery network for faster page loading and security

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third party for their marketing purposes.

5. How long we retain your data

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary:

  • Contact form submissions and lead enquiries — retained for 3 years to maintain business records
  • Website visitor analytics data — retained for 1 year, then automatically deleted
  • Session and page view logs — retained for 90 days
  • If you become a client, your business records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian law

6. Your rights under the DPDP Act 2023

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to correction — you may request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure — you may request deletion of your personal data from our systems
